With my industry experience, I would like to suggest eco-friendly alternatives for your design projects.
Step 1: My services begin with the client filling out the Intake Form. This is necessary to get an idea of the clients décor preferences. Please fill out the first page of this form, save it and email it to info@nisargadesigns.com. After this, an initial consultation of two hours is suggested at the clients home at a mutually convenient time. At the end of the consultation, the client will decide what services are required. I then get the Agreement ready for signature and the decoration process begins. This form is filled out by the decorator (myself) but it is included on the website for the clients reference.
Step 2: Measurements will be taken of the rooms to be decorated. This is necessary to determine for instance the yardage needed for window treatments or if the furniture to be selected can fit into the space.
Step 3: The decorator will return with samples & pictures for the customer & the customer will have to make a decision on the type of furniture they like or the fabric that matches their décor with input from the decorator.
Step 4: Once the client has finished the selection of the décor items, the decorator will order the necessary items like furniture, fabric, flooring, accessories, etc. Most of these items fall under custom orders and will take from a few days to several weeks for manufacture & shipping.
Step 5: Once the décor items are ready, they will be delivered and installed. The decorator will be available to supervise the completion of the project. For window treatments, the installer has to visit the clients home with the decorator and re-measure for a perfect fit. The installer will come back to install the fabric drapes or hard-window coverings once the fabrication is finished. The installer charges are separate from decorator charges. For flooring, the contractor of the clients choice will come back to install. Delivery, Install & HST will be separate charges as noted in the purchase order.
Step 6: This is the final step of completing the decor process. The decorator will make sure that all the items are ordered and installed per the clients choice. This is done in conjunction with Step 5.
