1. WHAT AREAS DO YOU DECORATE?

I deal in all aspects of home decoration like colour consultation i.e. paint colour selection, furniture selection, upholstery, window treatments, flooring selection, lighting, wall coverings, & window treatments. I have also redone garages & driveways.

2. WHAT DO YOU CHARGE?

It depends on the project. I initially recommend a 2 hour consultation for which payment is due at the end of the consultation. At the end of the consultation, the client can decide what services are required and the decoration fees will be charged accordingly.

3. DO I NEED TO SET BUDGETS?

The ‘B’ word! Yes budgets need to be discussed & set. It is always good idea for the clients to decide what needs to be decorated and what the budget is going to be. This can often be a contentious issue but the people involved in making the decisions need to be on board with a budget. This will help smooth the way for the décor project. In my home, my husband & I have a discussion of what needs to be done, what the wants are & do we ‘need’ it or ‘absolutely want’ it? Can we afford the want? Is it Eco-friendly? What value does it add? Then we come to a decision about what ‘needs’ to be done & whether ‘wants’ can be accommodated per budget.

4. WHAT IS THE DECOR STYLE OF NISARGA DESIGNS?

My work focuses on beauty, comfort and functionality, with an underlying theme for using Eco-Friendly products. I do not have a specific style but work with you as my client to help select the type of décor you enjoy, which suits your lifestyle.

5. WHAT GEOGRAPHICAL AREAS DO YOU WORK IN?

I work primarily in Markham, Vaughan, &, Toronto. If your project is outside of these areas, some additional fees may apply. Please contact me directly to discuss.

6. WHAT WILL THE DURATION OF MY PROJECT BE?

This is a question all home/condo/apartment owners dread. Unfortunately, there is no specific answer to this question and there are many factors involved in how long a project takes. Some of my projects might just be a colour consultation which will take a few hours. The painting itself will take a few days to a few weeks depending on what you need painted. Some projects may take a few months to move from the planning and conceptual stages through to the execution of the design. Furniture ordering may take several weeks for the items to be manufactured, delivered & setup. The key thing to note here is that if you have decided the budget, décor fees, and, can make decisions quickly & decisively, the project will move along at a faster pace. If you need time to envision the look for your home, it might take a little longer. An important factor to remember is that I’m always here to help & provide information, pictures, costs of items, pros & cons. For instance if you are deciding whether to go with bamboo flooring or hardwood, I can help you with a choice suitable for your needs.
